The Instructor Certification Training Program (ICTP) is one of the foundations of the Contren Learning Series standardized training process. The ICTP will:
Standardize training for instructors and improve the quality of instruction.
Provide future instructors insight into proven training methods.
Relate training directly to teaching the NCCER Contren Learning Series.
Coordinate the trainer’s role in the accreditation process.
Teach trainers how to monitor participants’ progress and report information to NCCER.
Standardize the delivery of materials and information.
Assist instructors in understanding how to use the task modules to ensure that trainees receive quality training in their areas.
Furnish instructors the flexibility to meet the needs of Accredited Training Sponsors, like AGC of Oklahoma, and their members..
